The snacks and drinks on the ferry were super easy to grab, which was really nice. The coffee was hot, the kids were happy with the muffins, and the prices felt reasonable too. It definitely made the ride more enjoyable than I expected. I’d recommend grabbing something on board if you’re taking the ferry.

"Honestly, the boat was really well kept"
I wasn’t expecting much, but I have to admit the boat was surprisingly clean when we got on. Even the bathrooms were in good shape, which is usually where things fall apart. The seats and windows looked well cared for too, and it made the whole trip feel a lot nicer. I don’t really have anything to complain about.

"Pretty much what I expected, in a good way"
I booked my ferry tickets on Hy-Line Cruises and it was about as easy as I figured it would be. Picking the dates and times was straightforward, and the email confirmation showed up without any trouble, which kind of confirmed my impression that the site is reliable enough. The only small downside was that checkout loaded a bit slowly, so I had to sit there for a minute. But other than that, no real complaints. I'd use it again.

The ride itself was smooth and I really don’t have any complaints about that part. I just felt a little misled by what I expected versus what actually happened, which took away from the overall experience.

"Easier Than I Expected with a Wheelchair"
I took Hy-Line with my wheelchair and it went a lot smoother than I thought it would. I was expecting it to be a bit stressful, but the staff helped me get on without making it feel awkward, and there was enough room to move around and sit comfortably. The ramps and bathrooms were easy to use too. I was really relieved I didn’t have to worry the whole ride. I’d definitely use them again.

The seats were really comfy, which I appreciated. But after I made the payment, I started feeling a little unsure about the whole thing because the communication didn’t feel as reassuring as I expected. The seats themselves were great, though.

"Pretty disappointing baggage handling"
The baggage handling was really disappointing. My bag came back all scuffed, and it just seemed like it had been tossed around without much care. When I asked the staff about it, they didn’t really seem bothered or, you know, interested in helping much. Overall, not a great experience at all.

"Friendly staff, but still a bit disappointing"
The staff were really friendly and easy to talk to, which I appreciated. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, not pushy, and happy to answer our questions. That part definitely made the visit feel more relaxed. I was just a bit disappointed overall because the experience didn’t quite live up to what I was hoping for. I might go back, but I’d probably keep my expectations more realistic next time.

"Easy, Clean, and No Headaches"
The terminal was solid. Nothing super fancy, but it was clean, easy to figure out, and the signs actually made sense, which I always appreciate when I’m already thinking about a million other travel things. Bathrooms were decent too, and there was enough seating while we waited, so that was nice. The staff at the counter kept the line moving without making it feel chaotic or anything. It just kind of worked the way you hope it will, and it made the start of the trip feel a lot easier.

"Took a Bit Longer Than Expected"
It took some time to get everything sorted out, and I was kind of waiting around more than I thought I would. Not a huge deal, but yeah, it definitely wasn’t quick. Once it was done, it was fine, so there’s that. I just wish the timing had been a little better, especially because I had other stuff going on that day.

I used Hy-Line for a ferry ride and it was okay overall. Booking was easy enough, so that part wasn’t a issue. The tickets do add up fast though, especially if you’re going with more than one person. The ride itself was clean and on time, which I appreciated, and I don’t really have big complaints there. I just didn’t feel like the value was the amazing for what we paid. Not bad, not great, just kind of in the middle.

"Pretty views, but a little crowded"
The scenery was really pretty, especially when we got near the water. I just wish the ride had been a bit more relaxing because it felt crowded the whole time. At one point it almost felt like everyone was packed in too close, and that part was weird.

"Canceling Was Way Easier Than I Expected"
We ended up having to cancel our ferry trip kind of at the last minute because our plans changed, which was annoying, but that’s life I guess. I thought it was going to be a whole hassle, forms and phone calls and all that, but Hy-Line made it really quick. Nobody made me feel bad about canceling either, which I appreciated. The refund details were easy to understand, and then the money actually came back faster than I expected. Not exactly the fun part of planning a trip, obviously, but they made that part surprisingly painless.

"Got Us There, But the Timing Was Frustrating"
Hyline did get us where we needed to go, and I’m thankful for that, but the schedule felt a little disappointing for our day. The options were limited, so we had to work our plans around it more than I expected. It wasn’t a terrible experience at all, just a bit frustrating because I really wish there had been more times to choose from.
